Star Copper Advances Copper Creek Target in 2025 Drilling Campaign

Star Copper Corp. has announced significant progress in its 2025 exploration campaign at the Copper Creek target, located 2.5 km southeast of the company's Star Main site. The campaign included mapping, soil sampling, and drilling, culminating in the first modern drill test, designated CC-25-001. The results have revealed potential continuity with historic mineralization and suggest the possibility of a regional copper deposit.

CEO Darryl Jones highlights the importance of these findings in planning future exploration activities. The campaign involved trail access establishment, soil grid sampling, and drilling to evaluate copper-gold mineralization within a larger soil anomaly. Drill hole CC-25-001, targeting previously identified mineral zones, intersected significant geological features such as andesite lithic tuffs and shear zones with visible chalcopyrite.

The company plans further drilling in 2026 to expand the project scope, building on insights from these results. The 2025 fieldwork data could play a vital role in shaping Star Copper's strategic direction as they prepare for further exploration in the Northern geophysical target region.
