Star Copper Closes Oversubscribed Private Placement
Star Copper Corp. announced the closing of its oversubscribed non-brokered private placement, raising C$7,306,000. The company sold 5,844,800 flow-through shares at C$1.25 each. Due to high demand, the offering was increased, generating an additional C$1,306,000 from 1,044,800 more shares. The funds from this placement will support exploration activities in their Star Project in British Columbia, focusing on extensive drilling programs and geophysical surveys.
The proceeds will facilitate the 2026 drill program targeting priority areas identified through three-dimensional geological modeling and planned geophysics. Cash finder's fees totaling $420,332.50 were paid, with all issued securities holding a four-month restriction period. Star Copper continues its charity flow-through units offering as planned.
