Star Copper Completes Northeast Step-Out Drilling at Star Main

Star Copper Corp. has completed seven northeast step-out drill holes at its Star Main copper-gold porphyry project located in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. These efforts have extended the historical footprint marked by hole S-025, with assays awaited for all new holes.

The 15,000-meter 2026 drilling program is fully funded, and recent geological logging identified promising porphyry-style copper mineralization beyond the historical boundaries. The step-outs firmed around hole S-025, which confirmed 269 meters at 0.42% copper and 0.198 g/t gold. Hole S-054A further supported this with 183 meters at 0.28% CuEq.

Notably, the comprehensive drilling encountered key porphyry characteristics such as potassic alteration and chalcopyrite mineralization. Star Copper aims to refine the northeast extension model using assay outcomes, ancillary geophysical survey data, and prioritize subsequent targets.
