Star Copper Concludes Phase 1 Exploration at Star Project
Star Copper Corp. has announced the completion of Phase 1 exploration at its flagship Star Project in northwestern British Columbia. The drilling campaign aimed to refine understanding of the Star Deposit's orientation and mineralization. Significant achievements include the drilling of a 675-meter hole, intersecting potassic mineralization, and the expansion of the supergene footprint by 75 meters to the southwest. The project scope has been confirmed and expanded for Phase 2.
The six-hole drill campaign totaled over 2200 meters, with Hole S-055 revealing near-surface oxide zones transitioning to chalcopyrite. Phase 1's success prompted the immediate launch of Phase 2, targeting Star North and Copper Creek to expand the project's reach. Field teams collected extensive samples for further evaluation and identified drill-ready targets.
The company has also engaged Upswitch Media Corp. for marketing services, investing $1,000,000 to enhance investor communication. CEO Darryl Jones emphasized the successful copper mineralization confirmation and the strategic direction for the project’s next phase.
