Star Copper Corp. Advances Phase 1 Drilling with Promising Findings
Star Copper Corp., an exploration and development company based in Vancouver, has announced the completion of several significant milestones in its Phase 1 drilling program at the Star Project in northwestern British Columbia. The company confirmed the extension of a supergene mineralized zone, now known to cover 250m x 300m down to a depth of 100m.
Significant findings from the recently completed Hole E (S-054A) include the intersection of mineralized volcanic and epiclastic rocks, which revealed fine chalcopyrite disseminations and quartz-sulphide veinlets. These results have enhanced the understanding of structural and geological controls of copper mineralization in the area.
Drilling continues with Hole F (S-055), which seeks to delineate the southern margin of a geophysical anomaly. Initial observations indicate the presence of malachite and azurite, suggesting promising hypogene copper mineralization at greater depths.
