Star Copper Corp. Expands Mineralization at Star Main Target
Star Copper Corp. has reported promising updates from its latest drilling campaign at the Star Copper-Gold Project in British Columbia. The results from Hole D, drilled southwest of Hole B, show significant findings. Positioned 65 meters from a known copper-gold anomaly, Hole D was intended to test the southwest for mineral extensions.
The drilling reached 184 meters, encountering quartz monzodiorite and monzonite, revealing copper mineralization through chalcopyrite and quartz-sulfide veins. Key mineralized intervals were found between 77.8-178.75 meters, reinforcing the southwest expansion of the mineral footprint.
Darryl Jones, CEO of Star Copper, confirmed that Hole D's results are significant for the geologic model and highlight the project's potential in surface anomalies and favorable host rocks.
