Star Copper Corps Initiates 2026 Exploration at Star Project
Star Copper Corp. has announced the launch of its 2026 exploration program at the Star Project in British Columbia. With full funding secured, the company has completed drill pad construction at key sites: Star North, Star East, and Copper Creek. This sets the stage for an extensive drilling campaign aimed at exploring the district-scale porphyry potential.
The initial drilling phase will focus on the Star North and Copper Creek targets due to previously confirmed mineralization. Star East is a priority, featuring a large coincident anomaly with structural corridors that will undergo significant drilling.
Substantial infrastructure improvements have been made, and a second drill rig is expected by June. Advanced geophysical surveys will follow the initial drilling to refine targets. Star Copper is positioned to assess the district-scale potential of the system, advancing towards a maiden resource.
