Star Copper Expands Drilling at Star Project
Star Copper Corp. has expanded its drilling operations at its Copper-Gold Porphyry Star Project in British Columbia. The company has introduced a second drill rig to advance their 15,000-meter program aimed at exploring the northeastern extension of the hypogene system at the Star Main location. This effort is a part of their fully funded 2026 drill campaign.
The company is focusing on testing the northeastern extension at Star Main, particularly looking to further investigate the hypogene mineralization beyond 100 meters east of the historic drill hole S-025. Previous drilling here intersected a strong deposit of copper and gold, suggesting potential for further resource expansion.
The drilling is designed to evaluate the mineralized porphyry corridor's extensions and target magnetic and chargeability anomalies not previously tested. The results from these efforts are expected to refine the resource model and potentially increase shareholder value. This initiative forms part of Star Copper's broader strategy to support global electrification demands through sustainable development.
