Star Copper Reveals Two Promising Copper Zones and Anomaly at Star Project
Star Copper Corp., a mineral exploration company, announced promising findings from its ongoing drill campaign at the Star Project in British Columbia's "Golden Triangle." The campaign is enhancing the known copper discovery at Star Main and identifying new potential at Star North, East, and West. Notably, Star West revealed a large magnetic anomaly.
CEO Darryl Jones remarked on the progress of geological mapping and sampling at Star North and East. Intriguingly, the magnetic anomaly at Star West, located near the camp, has accelerated further investigation efforts. Despite daily drilling, the team continues to uncover significant data suggesting a potential large-scale copper-gold system.
Drillhole S-051 revealed elevated copper oxide mineralization and extended potassic alteration zones, while Drillhole S-052 aims to analyze deep gold enrichment. Preliminary sampling of rocks and soils reflects copper anomalies, amplifying the project's prospects.
