Sterling Metals Expands Copper Prospects at Soo Copper Project

Sterling Metals Corp. reports promising results from its 2026 drilling at the Soo Copper Project near Batchewana Bay, Ontario. The initial six holes exhibit significant near-surface copper mineralization and reveal a multi-phase porphyry stock over a 1.4-kilometer corridor. A new molybdenum-rich zone has been identified at depth.

Key findings include intervals in SC-26-04 showing 503.9m of 0.26% CuEq, SC-26-05 with 289.5m of 0.26% CuEq, and SC-26-06 with 214.5m of 0.29% CuEq. These results enhance the understanding of the robust copper-molybdenum system associated with the porphyry complex.

The drilling program has achieved over 12,000 meters across 22 holes. CEO Mathew Wilson emphasizes the project's growth potential as exploration continues, aiming to uncover new mineralization zones.

Sterling Metals remains focused on testing favorable trend extensions northeast of MEPS Discovery and plans to expand towards key mineralizing zones in the Gimlet target area.
