Sterling Metals Expands Mineralization at Soo Copper Project

Sterling Metals Corp. has released positive assay results from its initial drilling in the eastern section of the Soo Copper Project near Batchewana Bay, Ontario. The new drill holes, located 850 meters east of the previous limit of the MEPS copper zone, extend the mineralized footprint of the project to approximately 2 kilometers from east to west.

Notably, drill hole SC-26-20 intersected 206.2 meters grading 0.28% copper equivalent from 49.8 meters to 256.0 meters depth, including higher-grade intervals. The results indicate strong copper grades associated with massive to semi-massive magnetite deposits. The potential for further exploration remains substantial as much of the surrounding ground is yet untested.

These findings suggest a continuous copper system with significant economic potential. CEO Mathew Wilson remarked on the project's scale and accessibility, emphasizing its importance amid a growing demand for domestic copper sources in Canada.
