Sterling Metals Expands MEPS Discovery
Sterling Metals Corp. has announced significant drill results from the MEPS Zone at its Soo Copper Project in Ontario. The results extend the strike of the MEPS discovery to 1.3 km and reveal a molybdenum-copper porphyry stock at depth. Drill hole SC-26-16 intersected 451 metres at 0.30% copper equivalent (CuEq), including higher-grade intervals.
This development follows the earlier findings in SC-26-13, supporting the continuity of mineralization as drilling progresses east. SC-26-16's shallow granite porphyry stock showed elevated molybdenum and copper, marking a crucial geological vector for future drilling. The area remains open for exploration.
Jeremy Niemi, Senior VP of Exploration at Sterling, highlighted the discovery's potential, stating that the mineralized stock offers new opportunities for expansion to the east.
