Steyr Motors AG is strengthening its foothold in the expanding market for autonomous systems with its engine technology now powering unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). The Slovenian company RTC's CORNUS UGV will employ Steyr engines for various military and security applications. This marks a strategic move for the Austrian company as the global unmanned systems market is projected to exceed USD 67 billion by 2033.
