STGM Secures €127 Million in Tignes Ski Area Transfer
STGM, a 78% subsidiary of Compagnie des Alpes (CDA), has received €127 million connected with the shift in operational responsibility for the Tignes ski area to the local public company, ALTTA, as of June 1, 2026. This transfer marks the normal end of the Public Service Delegation Agreement.
In a recent announcement, STGM confirmed receiving 90% of the compensation for returned assets, totaling €88.2 million. These assets are pivotal for managing the ski estate. This portion of the compensation does not affect the income statement.
Further, STGM earned €38.3 million from asset sales completed in late May 2026. An additional €10 million in payments is anticipated by the close of the 2025/26 fiscal year.
In total, CDA is expected to receive €107 million in compensation. Funds will be invested in projects to broaden business operations.
