Stillwater Critical Minerals Announces Successful Expansion Drilling at Stillwater West
Stillwater Critical Minerals Corp. has reported promising results from its 2025 drilling campaign at the Stillwater West project in Montana, USA. The company revealed significant polymetallic mineralization findings, including a notable 40.8 meters at 1.0 g/t combined palladium, platinum, and gold. This mineralization extends beyond the boundaries outlined in the 2023 Mineral Resource Estimate.
The drilling focused on the Chrome Mountain and Iron Mountain areas, successfully intersecting rich nickel-copper-cobalt-platinum-palladium-gold mineralization. Of particular interest were the broad zones defined at Chrome Mountain, with high-grade zones confirming resource continuity and potential for expansion.
These results highlight the project's strong multi-metal profile and the potential for near-surface resource growth. With assays for additional elements pending, Stillwater plans to finalize its 2026 drill strategy, targeting further resource expansion.
Michael Rowley, CEO, noted the significance of these findings in extending sulphide-rich zones, while Vice-President Dr. Danie Grobler emphasized the scarcity of near-surface PGE deposits, underscoring the strategic importance of the company's assets.
