STMicroelectronics and Leopard Imaging are innovating in robotic vision with NVIDIA

STMicroelectronics and Leopard Imaging have unveiled a multimodal vision module for robotic systems. It combines ST's image sensors with NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge technology. This module facilitates integration with the NVIDIA Jetson and Isaac development platforms, meeting the size and power consumption requirements of humanoid robots.

The module offers 2D imaging, 3D depth sensing, and motion perception. Its standardized design simplifies data acquisition. NVIDIA Isaac provides open AI models and simulation frameworks.

The module includes RGB-IR sensors and a dToF LiDAR for high-precision detection. ST is strengthening its partnership with NVIDIA by integrating its technologies into the robotics ecosystem.
