STMicroelectronics and NVIDIA strengthen physical AI

STMicroelectronics is partnering with NVIDIA to accelerate the global adoption of physical artificial intelligence. By integrating its sensors, microcontrollers, and control solutions into the NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge, STMicroelectronics aims to optimize the development of humanoid robots and other advanced AI systems. To this end, the company is highlighting the integration of the Leopard depth camera and high-fidelity models into the NVIDIA Isaac Sim ecosystem.

This collaboration aims to facilitate the connection and synchronization of ST sensors and actuators with NVIDIA platforms. The pre-integrated solutions will allow developers to simplify model creation, accelerate learning, and bring simulations closer to reality.

With these advances, STMicroelectronics and NVIDIA hope to reduce the costs and challenges associated with the complexity of robotics modeling, while improving the efficiency of robotic applications.
