STMicroelectronics launches new STM32G5 microcontrollers for AI and robotics
STMicroelectronics, a semiconductor specialist, is introducing its STM32G5 microcontrollers designed to improve real-time power control. Targeted at AI data centers and robotics applications, this new series promises enhanced efficiency and security by integrating post-quantum cryptography. Equipped with an Arm Cortex-M33 core, the STM32G5 series delivers double the performance of its predecessor, the STM32G4.
These microcontrollers aim to optimize the energy efficiency of AI data centers, where power demands are rapidly increasing. In humanoid robotics, they provide the precise motor control necessary for fluid movements. STMicroelectronics is also leveraging its advanced security capabilities to meet new compliance standards.
