Storm Exploration Discovers New VMS System at Gold Standard Project

Storm Exploration Inc. has announced the discovery of a new mineralised Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) system at its Gold Standard Project, 60 km north of Fort Frances, Ontario. The company has completed five drill holes totaling 1,000 meters along a 1.9 km section of the VMS target’s 7 km strike-length, confirming the presence of critical minerals such as chalcopyrite and sphalerite.

The drilling program targets a strong conductivity anomaly identified through VTEM survey, further refined by VLF-EM surveys. Initial results show significant sulphide mineralisation within a bi-modal volcanic sequence, suggesting potential for economic mineral deposits across the unexplored 4 km limb of the anomaly.

Storm has engaged Dr. Stephen Piercey, a VMS expert, to review the project’s technical details. Detailed logging is underway, with assay results expected in early Q1/2027. This new finding marks a crucial milestone for Storm in identifying prospective areas for exploration at the Gold Standard Project.
