Strategic Metals and GGL Resources Finalize Property Transaction
Strategic Metals Ltd. announced final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange for its property transaction with GGL Resources Corp. The agreement concerns copper-gold properties in Yukon Territory. Initial approval was secured from disinterested shareholders on August 31, 2026. GGL has conducted a share consolidation, exchanging four pre-consolidation shares for one post-consolidation share.
Under the agreement, GGL can acquire up to a 100% interest in mineral properties by meeting several conditions. These include GGL issuing shares and incurring exploration expenditures totaling $10 million by 2029. If GGL exercises the First Option, a 70/30 joint venture with Strategic is formed for exploration and development.
GGL may secure a full stake with an additional $3 million payment, granting Strategic a 2% net smelter return royalty. GGL holds an option to buy half of this royalty for $3 million before commercial production begins. This agreement marks a significant step in Strategic and GGL's exploration initiatives.
