Straumann Group Announces New CEO as Part of Leadership Transition

Straumann Group, based in Basel, announced the appointment of Christopher Norbye as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2026. This transition follows the decision of Guillaume Daniellot to step down after nearly two decades with the company, including seven years as CEO. Under Daniellot's tenure, Straumann significantly expanded its market reach and maintained innovation as a strategic priority.

Petra Rumpf, Chair of Straumann Group, expressed gratitude for Daniellot's contributions and emphasized Norbye's fit with the company's culture. With over 20 years of experience in international leadership across various regions, Norbye brings expertise in customer focus and digital transformation.

Norbye, coming from Beijer Ref where he drove growth and value creation, is expected to lead Straumann Group into a new phase focused on customer-oriented, profitable growth. He will begin his integration into the company in October, with Daniellot assisting in the transition until the end of November.
