Sun Peak Metals Completes Acquisition of Saudi Discovery Company
Sun Peak Metals Corp., a Vancouver-based company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, has announced the successful acquisition of Saudi Discovery Company SPV Limited. The acquisition, achieved through a share exchange, aims to position Sun Peak as a leader in exploration within the Arabian Nubian Shield.
CEO Greg Davis expressed enthusiasm for the transaction, emphasizing its transformative potential and upcoming exploration plans for 2026. As part of the deal, former shareholders of Saudi Discovery received over 58 million Sun Peak shares, now expected to be traded on the TSX Venture Exchange.
The acquisition was approved by Sun Peak's shareholders with unanimous support during a special meeting held on December 1, 2025. Additionally, a recent $6.7 million financing involving subscription receipts was completed, converting into shares and warrants of Sun Peak.
