Sun Summit Minerals Initiates Fieldwork on Theory Project

Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. announced that its partner, Sun Summit Minerals Corp., has begun the second phase of 2026 fieldwork at the Theory copper-gold project in the Toodoggone Mining District, British Columbia. The Theory Project, entirely owned by Eagle Plains, is positioned next to Thesis Gold's Ranch Project and within close proximity to Sun Summit's JD Project.

The 2026 work includes an airborne MT geophysical survey, a 28-day field program involving various geological evaluations, and an Induced Polarization geophysics survey. A budget of around $700,000 is allocated for this program, which aims to identify targets for future drill testing. Managed by TerraLogic Exploration Inc., the fieldwork is underway and expected to continue until September.

Previous studies in 2025 led to several significant findings, including high-grade copper discoveries. The Saboteur Zone unveiled a 3 km zone of copper mineralization. Grab samples in other zones showed notable concentrations of copper, gold, and silver.
