Swiss Re Releases 2025 Annual Report and 2026 AGM Invitation
On March 12, 2026, Swiss Re published its Annual Report for 2025 alongside the invitation to its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM). The comprehensive report details the group's strategy, performance, and risk assessment for the year, incorporating both financial and sustainability disclosures.
A key highlight is the proposal for a 9% increase in dividends, bringing it to USD 8.00 per share, supported by a robust capital position, with a Swiss Solvency Test (SST) ratio of 250%. Additionally, Swiss Re has announced a share buyback program worth up to USD 1.5 billion.
The AGM, scheduled for April 10, 2026, in Dübendorf, will address proposals including board elections, approving the annual report, and considering a currency change for share capital from Swiss francs to US dollars. Jean-Jacques Henchoz is proposed as a new board member, succeeding Larry Zimpleman.
