Taranis Resources Expands Exploration at Thor Project
Taranis Resources Inc. has initiated exploration activities at its expanded Thor project, covering 6,613 hectares in British Columbia's Silver Cup Mining District. With a rising focus on critical minerals, the company is reassessing its current mineral resource estimates. Taranis is targeting the integration of elements like germanium, indium, and antimony along with existing resources of silver, gold, copper, lead, and zinc.
The acquisition of additional geophysical targets increased the project size by 213 hectares, now encompassing several old mines and prospects. Recent investments by the government in Teck's Trail Smelter enhance the project's prospective economic feasibility.
Exploration, supervised by John Gardiner, involves advanced fieldwork on four high-priority targets. Efforts aim to offer a predominantly domestic source of critical minerals.
