TCL Electronics Reports Strong Q1 2026 Growth

TCL Electronics achieved significant financial growth in Q1 2026, with adjusted profit for parent owners rising by 140% to HK$384 million. The company, influenced by its "Globalisation" and "Mid-to-High-End Positioning" strategy, saw a 15.3% increase in revenue to HK$29.2 billion.

Significantly, TCL's partnership with Sony aims to expand their presence in the global home entertainment industry. The company's TCL Mini LED TV shipments surged by 102.1% worldwide and 178.3% in overseas markets.

TCL's internet segment also flourished, increasing revenue by 13.2% to HK$740 million, driven by platforms such as Google and Roku. The photovoltaic business showed steady growth with revenue climbing 12.7%.

Operational efficiency improved, evidenced by a 0.7 percentage point reduction in expenses. Overall, TCL maintained its position in the global market, sustaining focus on mid-to-high-end products.
