TCL SunPower Launches X5 Energy Storage System in Europe

TCL SunPower Global has introduced its TCL X5 commercial energy storage system to the European market. This system offers a plug-and-play solution with a factory-assembled inverter, catering to small commercial and industrial sites. The X5 aims to reduce installation complexity and costs by up to 60% compared to on-site assembled systems.

According to Steven Zhang, General Manager at TCL SunPower Global, the launch marks the company's first step in offering a complete commercial energy portfolio across Europe. Over the next year, TCL plans to expand its offerings to megawatt-scale solutions for larger businesses.

The X5 system is designed for sites that demand more than a residential solution but cannot justify a custom-built system. It supports various operations, including on-grid and off-grid, and can accommodate generator inputs. The scalable system starts at 50kWh and can expand to 400kWh, suitable for diverse applications.
