TeamViewer Germany GmbH's recent research unveils that ineffective technology is impacting global business operations, with 42% of organizations reporting revenue losses. The study, involving 4,200 employees across nine countries, highlights significant productivity losses attributed to digital friction, with workers losing an average of 1.3 days per month.

The findings indicate that 80% of employees encounter technology-related work disruptions monthly. This not only affects productivity but also contributes to employee turnover, with 69% acknowledging its role and 28% considering resignation due to technology-induced frustration.

However, the report also points to AI's potential to address these issues. Nearly half of the respondents see AI as a viable solution for reducing digital friction, expressing openness to its role in routine IT tasks. This growing acceptance of AI could enhance productivity and improve overall work satisfaction.
