Telekom Austria AG Reports Growth in Third Quarter 2026

Telekom Austria AG announced its financial results for the first nine months and the third quarter of 2026. The company reported a 4.6% increase in revenues compared to the third quarter of 2025. This growth was primarily driven by a rise in service revenues, which saw an increase of 3.9% in the same period. Notably, there was strong growth in Central and Eastern Europe, though the decline in Austria showed signs of slowing.

Operating expenses rose during the quarter, attributed to higher electricity and product-related costs. Despite this, EBITDA excluding restructuring increased by 1.9%, fueled by performance improvements in Serbia and Belarus. Revenues grew in all markets except Austria.

The net result for the first nine months of 2026 was up by 9.9%, aided by a better financial result. Free cash flow improved by 8.1%, largely due to enhanced operational outcomes. Moody's maintained Telekom Austria's credit rating at 'A3'. The company revised its forecast for total revenue growth to approximately 4%, with expected CAPEX around EUR 850 million.
