Temas Resources Completes Drill Program for Critical Minerals in Quebec
Temas Resources Corp. has completed 2,302 meters of HQ diamond drilling at its La Blache Vanadium Titanomagnetite project in Quebec, targeting critical minerals and rare earth elements. The drill core assays will be analyzed by ALS Limited, with results expected in January 2026. The program aims to expand the Farrell-Taylor resource, currently estimated at 108.8 million tonnes with significant titanium, vanadium, and iron content. Initial findings suggest the presence of gallium and scandium.
Phase 2 drilling is scheduled for 2026, focusing on refining geological and metallurgical models. The core will aid in developing Temas' Regenerative Chloride Leach (RCL) technology, promising up to 65% cost reductions and improved recovery rates. Discussions to apply this technology to third-party resources are in progress.
This initiative is part of Temas' strategy to leverage patented processing technology alongside its mineral assets, aiming to bolster supply resistance and advance sustainable mining practices.
