Temas Resources Expands Patent Portfolio with Vanadium Extraction Process
Temas Resources Corp. has announced the filing of a new patent for the extraction of vanadium using its Regenerative Chloride Leach (RCL) technology. This latest addition to Temas' intellectual property reinforces its platform's capability in critical minerals technology. The patent, filed on July 8, 2026, is titled "Chloride-based process for Vanadium extraction."
This filing follows successful RCL vanadium testwork on material from the La Blache Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project. Temas has confirmed high-grade mineralization, including vanadium with up to 0.48% V₂O₅.
The RCL technology platform, already supported by eleven granted patents, covers various minerals including gold, iron, titanium, and nickel. Temas is focusing on commercializing these technologies through licensing and partnerships to meet the growing demand for critical minerals.
