QuadAlliance: Transforming Windshields into Smart Displays

Tesa, ZEISS, Saint-Gobain Sekurit, and Hyundai Mobis have formed the QuadAlliance to develop holographic windshield displays (HWD). This collaboration aims to create a seamless value chain for automotive HWD production, addressing today's vehicle cockpit challenges.

By 2029, the alliance plans to industrialize HWDs, ensuring reliable and cost-effective series production for OEMs. The holographic windshields promise ultra-large, high-transparency displays, superior brightness, and adaptability to curved surfaces while enhancing safety and reducing CO₂ emissions.

Each partner brings unique expertise: ZEISS in optical design, tesa in holographic film replication, Saint-Gobain Sekurit in windshield integration, and Hyundai Mobis in advanced display technology.

The QuadAlliance ensures a streamlined supply chain, fostering innovation in automotive displays and redefining the driver experience.
