Rosewood Hong Kong Tops 50 Best Hotels List in 2026
In a showcase of global hospitality excellence, Rosewood Hong Kong has been named the world's best hotel for the second consecutive year. This accolade highlights its leading position in the industry, surpassing competitors such as Capella Bangkok and Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River. The prestigious list features hotels from 22 destinations across six continents, with Europe demonstrating significant prominence, boasting 21 winning hotels.
Other notable accolades include the Bombay Sapphire Eco Hotel Award for Chablé Yucatán in Mexico, and the Johnnie Walker Art of Design Award presented to Hôtel du Couvent in Nice, France. Passalacqua in Lake Como received the Best Boutique Hotel Award, while Patina Osaka in Japan secured the Nikka Best New Hotel Award.
The announcement, made at a ceremony in Paris, celebrates pioneering hospitality experiences worldwide, with Asia featuring prominently with 18 hotels, including four in Japan. The United States is highlighted with six entries, reflecting its standing in the industry.
