Datametrex AI Limited has announced that Hilco Global has completed its due diligence on the patent portfolio of Datametrex's subsidiary, Paymetrex Payment Solutions Inc. This review is part of a collaboration focused on monetizing Paymetrex's intellectual property.

Hilco Global's evaluation confirmed the portfolio's relevance in various payment technology sectors, including SoftPOS and mobile payment acceptance. The successful qualification paves the way for a structured licensing initiative, expected to kick off in about two months.

Michael Kron, COO of Datametrex, emphasized the review's significance for their patent strategy, noting the portfolio's alignment with evolving payment technologies. However, the company cautions that the licensing process remains exploratory, with no guaranteed outcomes.
