on ELECTRICITE ET EAUX DE MADAGASCAR (EPA:EEM)
The Supreme Court of Cambodia supports the EEM Group
The Supreme Court of Cambodia issued two rulings in favour of the company Electricité et Eaux de Madagascar (EEM) on 9 December 2025. The decisions also impact its subsidiaries, Victoria Angkor Company Limited (VAK) and Victoria Angkor Estate Co., Ltd (VAE).
In the first case, the Court dismissed the appeal of Mr. Pierre Ader and Mr. Bernard Gauthier. They were contesting a decision of the Battambang Court of Appeal dated October 23, 2024, which had rejected their claim for payment of a shareholder current account of $2,370,374.
In the second case, Mr. Pierre Ader's appeal was also rejected. The decision confirmed Ms. Hélène Tronconi as the sole legal representative of VAK within VAE, removing Mr. Ader from this position.
