Thyssenkrupp Nucera Unveils New Generations of Electrolyzers

Thyssenkrupp Nucera introduced the BM2.7 v7 and improved e-BiTAC v7 electrolyzers at the Chlorine Symposium 2025 in Cologne. These updated models offer significant enhancements for Chlor-Alkali electrolysis plants, including lower power consumption below 1,960 kWh per ton of NaOH at 6 kA/m². Such advancements establish new efficiency benchmarks in the industry.

The introduction of the Resilient Elastic Element Structure (REES) aids in reducing assembly and downtime. This feature, alongside new element holders for the e-BiTAC v7, simplifies maintenance and installation. These innovations promise increased efficiency and reduced operating costs.

Thyssenkrupp's continuous development since 1989 in BiTAC and BM technologies underscores its commitment to customer-driven solutions and its role as a leading supplier in Chlor-Alkali technology.
