Tintina Mines Completes Key Acquisition for Dos Amigos Project

Tintina Mines Limited has finalized acquisition and financing transactions, consolidating 100% ownership of the Dos Amigos Copper-Gold Project in Chile. The company raised C$91 million from escrow, securing C$55 million to advance the project towards a final investment decision. This move completes their acquisition of the remaining 26.25% minority interest in Andean Belt Resources SpA.

The project, formerly known as Domeyko Sulfuros, benefits from a new management and board structure, including Claude Dufresne as CEO. The project will see about 50,000 meters of drilling and a feasibility study. GMC SPV Equity 01 Inc., an alliance between Sumitomo Corporation and the Gignac family, now holds a 25% stake in Tintina.

The Dos Amigos project combines advantageous infrastructure and location, elevating its development potential. Tintina is set to commence drilling by September 2026 with a view towards a final investment decision by 2030, contingent on the results of upcoming studies and regulatory permits.
