TotalEnergies EP Gabon Financial Report for the First Half of 2025
TotalEnergies EP Gabon has released its financial results for the first half of 2025, marked by declines in several key indicators. The average Brent price fell to $67.9/bbl in the second quarter, a 10% decrease compared to the first quarter. This decline also affected the price of crude sold by the company, which fell to $61.6/bbl. For the full half, the average price stood at $68.5/bbl, down 16% compared to the previous year.
Production decreased by 16% in the second quarter of 2025, reaching an average of 14.1 kb/d, mainly due to planned shutdowns. Revenue decreased by 11% compared to 2024, mainly due to a decrease in the average sales price despite a slight increase in crude volumes sold (+8%).
Operating cash flow was negative, at -$183 million for the half-year, compared to $185 million the previous year, affected by the payment of a supplementary dividend for the 2023 financial year.
