Total Telcom Inc. Develops Satellite Camera System for Military and Environmental Use
Total Telcom Inc., through its subsidiary ROM Communications Inc., has announced the completion of a satellite camera system known as "CamTraX." This system features easy deployment and integrates various technologies, such as thermal imaging and infrared night vision, with wireless connectivity to devices like smartphones. It supports sensors including magnetometers and radar detection.
The initial prototypes are set for field testing in Guyana, with production expected to commence by the late second quarter. Neil Magrath, CEO, emphasized ongoing governmental and military interest, highlighting the system's potential in threat assessments, such as monitoring borders and environmental events like flooding.
