Touchstone Exploration Approves Key Resolutions at 2026 Annual Meeting
Touchstone Exploration Inc., a Calgary-based company, announced on July 23, 2026, that all resolutions presented at its annual and special meeting were approved. Shareholder turnout represented 25.37% of eligible common shares. At the virtual meeting, the number of directors was fixed at seven, backed by 93.75% of the votes.
Director nominees, including Paul R. Baay and Bhupendra Kansagra, were elected with predominant support. Ernst & Young LLP was confirmed as auditors with 94.70% in favor. Several resolutions involving share issuance and compensation plans received over 90% approval. These included authorization for shares connected to convertible debentures and compensation plans.
A critical resolution involving the repayment of the Purebond Debenture and share issuance to Purebond Limited was passed. Upon admission on July 28, 2026, Purebond will hold 36.3% of Touchstone's shares. This approval is subject to regulatory measures from the TSX and AIM market.
