Touchstone Exploration Updates on Trinidad and Tobago Operations
Touchstone Exploration Inc. has announced recent developments in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Notably, the Carapal Ridge 3 (CR-3) well went online on March 28, 2026. This achievement increased the Central block's natural gas output from 16 MMcf/d to 21.5 MMcf/d. The startup follows ongoing liquid offloading that has demonstrated peak rates up to 5.7 MMcf/d.
In addition, the Cascadura booster compressor completed testing in Houston and is en route to Trinidad, with installation slated for May 2026. This is expected to enhance production stability and reduce pipeline pressures. The company is also progressing with a four-well drilling campaign in its oil blocks, with the FR-1835 well showing promising results.
Company President Paul R. Baay highlighted a strategy focusing on facility capacity utilization and capital deployment toward profitable sales contracts. This is expected to solidify Touchstone's entry into the LNG market and optimize returns from existing infrastructure.
