Trans Canada Gold Initiates Drilling on Harrison Lake Project
Trans Canada Gold Corp. is set to launch a Phase 1 Diamond Drilling program at its Harrison Lake Gold Project following the successful acquisition of the site. The company has teamed up with experienced contractors to prepare drill setups, road access, and electrical facilities. This marks a significant step as the project shows geological similarities to the Snowline Gold deposit in the Tintina Gold Belt.
The company aims to explore 2 to 10 million tonnes of gold-rich material, covering over two kilometers in strike length. Targets have been identified for grades between 1.0 to 5.0 grams per tonne of gold. However, these figures remain conceptual and further exploration is needed to define a mineral resource.
Noteworthy sections of the Harrison Lake Project include the Jenner and Portal Zones, with notable gold intercepts. The region comprises a 7-kilometer stretch known for its gold mineralization. Under the leadership of CEO Tim Coupland, the company positions itself to take advantage of predicted rising gold prices.
