TRATON GROUP Sees Growth in Sales and Revenue in 2026

In the first nine months of 2026, TRATON GROUP reported significant increases in unit sales, sales revenue, and adjusted operating results. Sales revenue rose by 3% year-over-year, reaching €33.3 billion. The group's adjusted operating result surged by 13% to €2.3 billion. These improvements were largely attributed to higher vehicle sales and growth in the Vehicle Services sector, complemented by a 19% revenue increase from TRATON Financial Services.

Incoming orders rose by 25% to 253,100 vehicles, marking robust growth across key regions. Notably, North America saw a 105% rise in truck orders, while Asia-Pacific reported a 55% increase, driven by Scania’s new product line. However, incoming truck orders in Germany saw a decline in the first nine months before rebounding in the third quarter.

Despite advancements in battery-electric vehicle sales and incoming orders, the group still faces challenges in meeting EU CO₂ targets. Scania and MAN's efforts in offering longer-range electric trucks reflect their strategy to adapt to the evolving market needs.
