Tunkillia Environmental Scoping Report Gains Approval

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has announced the approval of its environmental Scoping Report for the Tunkillia Gold Project by the Department for Energy & Mining (DEM) in South Australia. This approval marks a significant initial step in the mining lease approvals process. The approved report sets the framework for environmental studies, community engagement, and other essential programs required for the project’s development approvals.

The company is working closely with the South Australian Government to identify key stakeholder interests and manage social and environmental risks. With this early scope agreement, Barton can confidently proceed with its programs, aiming to reduce costs and expedite the approval process.

Barton plans to release updated Mineral Resource Estimates for gold and silver following their recent drilling programs and new mineralization discoveries. The target is to publish an Ore Reserves and Pre-feasibility Study by the first quarter of 2027, followed by a Mining Lease application, as part of their accelerated development strategy.
