Turkiye Garanti Bankasi Announces CMB Approval for Tier 2 Notes Issuance
Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. has received approval from the Capital Markets Board (CMB) for the issuance of Tier 2 notes. The bank's application, following a Board resolution on January 15, 2026, permits the issuance of debt securities up to 15 billion Turkish Liras. These notes, specifically for sale to qualified investors, will be available domestically.
The issuance follows Article 8 of the Regulation on the Equities of Banks, as per the Official Gazette No. 28756, dated September 5, 2013. The CMB bulletin numbered 2026/25 confirmed the registration. The approved Issuance Certificate and Application Form are included.
The bank ensures the information's accuracy, aligning with its records, following the Board’s Communiqué, Serial II Nr.15.1. Any discrepancies between the English and Turkish versions defer to the Turkish text.
