U-blox Achieves Strong Revenue Growth in H1 2025

u-blox AG reported a strong financial performance in the first half of 2025, with significant growth in revenue and a return to positive Cash EBIT. The company recorded a 32% increase in revenue year-on-year, reaching CHF 123.4 million. This growth was driven by robust demand in the Locate and Short-range segments, particularly in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Profitability also improved, as adjusted Cash EBIT turned positive at CHF 2.9 million, compared to a deficit of CHF -26.0 million in H1 2024. This improvement is attributed to effective cost reduction efforts and increased operational leverage. Furthermore, free cash flow remained positive at CHF 5.4 million, supported by cost control and working capital optimization.

The divestment of the Cellular business to Trasna was completed in June 2025, allowing u-blox to focus on its core positioning technologies. The company remains optimistic about future demand for its semiconductor solutions.
