The Goldman Sachs Group Reduces its Stake in Ubisoft
The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. recently fell below the 5% threshold of Ubisoft Entertainment's share capital. According to a statement received on March 25, 2026, their stake decreased to 4.42% of the share capital, representing 3.99% of the voting rights, following an off-market sale of shares.
The group now holds 5,958,464 Ubisoft Entertainment shares through various entities, including Goldman Sachs International and Goldman Sachs Bank Europe. In addition, some of these shares are held through securities lending agreements and put options, providing flexibility in their redemption or exercise.
In addition, Goldman Sachs maintains positions via financial contracts such as swaps and call warrants, reaching more than 2 million shares potentially exercisable by 2036.
