UKA Orders 80 Turbines from Nordex Group for 540 MW Projects in Germany
In December 2024, UKA (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG) placed a significant order with the Nordex Group for 80 turbines from the Delta4000 series. This order, aimed at 15 wind energy projects across six German states, represents a total capacity of 540 MW. The majority of the order consists of 64 N175/6.X turbines, alongside 13 N163/6.X and three N149/5.X turbines.
One of the notable projects is the Herzberg-Granzin wind farm, secured with nine N175/6.X turbines and three N149/5.X turbines, totaling 78 MW in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This agreement is part of an extended framework between UKA and Nordex, reflecting UK's trust in Nordex's capabilities.
The installation of N175/6.X turbines on Nordex's concrete hybrid towers with a hub height of 179 meters will commence, supporting Germany's energy transition and reducing dependence on imported energy.
