Unicity Labs Secures $3M to Expand AI Marketplaces

Unicity Labs, based in Zug, Switzerland, has successfully raised $3 million in seed funding to enhance its autonomous agent marketplaces. Blockchange Ventures led the funding round, with participation from Tawasal and Outlier Ventures. The funding aims to grow Unicity Labs' protocol, enabling AI agents to operate in peer-to-peer marketplaces efficiently.

The company addresses the need for AI agents to discover services and negotiate terms autonomously, without relying on traditional blockchain bottlenecks. The Unicity Protocol introduces a cryptographic architecture that separates transaction validation, improving speed and scale. This innovation allows AI agents to transact directly, supporting the emerging agentic economy.

CEO Mike Gault emphasizes Unicity's role in building the underlying infrastructure for these marketplaces. With significant market potential, the agentic AI market could surpass $100 billion by 2032.
