UniDoc and Pawnee Mental Health Services Relaunch eHealth Systems in Rural Kansas
UniDoc Health Corp. has announced that Pawnee Mental Health Services will trial and relaunch UniDoc Connect-enabled eHealth systems across rural Kansas. Pawnee, a provider of mental health and substance use recovery services, aims to address staffing issues by implementing eHealth solutions in its 10-county network.
Pawnee's partnership with UniDoc stems from the latter's acquisition of AMD Telemedicine's assets. The trial focuses on the testing and retraining of users on Clinical Assist and Vital Signs Carts. These tools will aid in managing patient care without requiring advanced-practice registered nurses on-site.
The initiative aims to evaluate how remote clinical workflows can bolster Pawnee's service capabilities across multiple locations. UniDoc's CEO, Tony Baldassarre, emphasized the importance of revitalizing existing equipment and transforming past AGNES customers into current UniDoc clients through this trial.
